LOVED BY KIDS

Trusted by Parents

At London Kids Dental, Dr. Kim Brown knows that a lifetime of healthy smiles begins with a baby’s first tooth. Our kid-friendly practice is built on a love for children and a desire for them to be comfortable with dentistry. It is our goal for our patients to receive the highest quality of care, in a positive environment, and to provide dental education for the entire family- ultimately, creating healthy and beautiful smiles for all!

Why Pediatric Dentistry?

All of our kid-centered services are provided in a calm, caring environment in order to provide you and your child with a positive experience. Pediatric dentists have 2-3 additional years of training and education after dental school that are specific to caring for the oral health of children. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician.

WHAT AGE SHOULD MY CHILD SEE A PEDIATRIC DENTIST?

The AAPD recommends that your child should be seen no later than 6 months after their first tooth erupts from the gum. Little teeth need as much attention as “big teeth” to prevent decay and encourage life-long healthy habits.

Does Pediatric Dentistry cost more?

Not necessarily! Every parent wants the best for their children, and we do too! Our practice is happy to work with you to create a dental hygiene plan for your child that will suit you and your family’s financial needs. As an added courtesy, we will file dental insurance for our patients. Although we do not control how your insurance handles its claims nor what benefits they provide, we are happy to save you the step of having to file yourself!

Can I sit with my child during the visit?

We invite you to stay with your child during the initial appointment. Beyond that, we suggest you allow our caring staff to guide your child through the dental experience. Our purpose is to gain your child’s confidence and overcome any apprehension. However, if you’d prefer to join the appointments, you are welcome to do so.

For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
